Position Overview:

Location: Sweetwater, Texas, United States

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Efficiently processes financial transactions with precision.
  • Adheres strictly to all banking policies and procedures.
  • Prioritizes customer needs and delivers exceptional service.
  • Maintains professional communication with clients and team members.
  • Possesses comprehensive knowledge of banking products and services, along with company protocols.
  • Offers support and guidance to teller staff as directed by the Teller Manager, including transaction approvals, resolving customer service issues, coordinating workflow, and training new or less experienced tellers.
  • Engages in job-specific training and various bank training programs, such as customer service, while complying with BSA, AML, and all bank policies and procedures as required. Additional duties may be assigned.
  • Actively participates in the Customer Service First initiative and upholds the organization's values while following established policies and procedures.
  • Periodic travel for training may be necessary.
  • Weekend and holiday hours may be required based on branch operational hours.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • High school diploma or GED with a proactive team-oriented attitude.
  • A minimum of 3 years of prior teller experience in the financial services sector.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality is essential.
  • Proficient in computer applications and familiar with Microsoft programs, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and minimal supervision.
  • Position may involve mental and physical demands, including standing for extended periods and lifting or moving heavy currency or coin bags weighing up to 60 pounds.
  • Must be available to work flexible hours and/or extended hours as needed.
  • Periodic travel for training may be necessary.
  • Weekend and holiday hours may be required based on branch operational hours.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
