About the Job

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to assist licensed pharmacists in preparing medications for patients. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and develop valuable skills in patient care and medication preparation.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Prepare medications according to prescriptions and departmental procedures.
  2. Transcribe physician orders into the pharmacy computer system.
  3. Maintain accurate records of medication inventory and patient profiles.
  4. Assist customers with their medication needs and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements

To be successful as a Pharmacy Technician at The Woodlands Compounding Pharmacy, you must have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A certificate from a pharmacy technician training program or junior college graduate.
  • State certification as a Pharmacy Technician.
  • The ability to pass the state pharmacy technician test within one year of employment.
