Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough assessments on various structures concerning failures, damages, defects, and safety maintenance issues.

Assignments may involve analyzing personal injuries, construction delays, and design or installation challenges related to materials such as wood, steel, concrete, and masonry. Responsibilities may also extend to providing deposition and expert testimony.

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to become part of our team.

Main Duties:
Examine, analyze, and determine the root causes of structural failures, damages, and defects.
Engage with clients and foster relationships.
Prepare detailed reports and present findings to clients and other relevant parties.
Travel to various locations for site inspections or trial/expert witness obligations.

Position Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
Professional Engineer (PE) license is advantageous.
A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in forensic investigation/engineering with a focus on structural issues.
Experience in diagnostics and problem-solving.
Knowledge of fire origin and cause, civil/structural engineering, or related disciplines is beneficial.
Prior experience with depositions and/or trial testimony is a plus.

Essential Skills:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in confined spaces as necessary.
Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
Ability to communicate findings clearly to clients, both verbally and in writing.
Confidence and charisma for public speaking engagements with diverse audiences.
Social interaction skills for engaging with clients in various settings.
Proficiency in a language other than English is a plus.
