Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Pipe Layer/Mechanical Crew Specialist to join our team at Webber, LLC.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and maintaining various types of pipe systems, including storm drainage, water lines, gas lines, and sanitary sewer lines. The role will also involve laying underground communication and electrical ducts, as well as performing other related duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install pumps, blowers, clarifier equipment, headworks, and MBR equipment.
  • Install concrete, clay, steel, ductile iron, plastic, corrugated pipe, and any other type of pipe for storm drainage, water lines, gas lines, and sanitary sewer lines.
  • Lay underground communication and electrical ducts.
  • Install valves and other accessories.
  • Ability to do neat work, plumb, and level.
  • Installing miscellaneous metals.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A High School Diploma or GED (preferred but not required).
  • At least 2 years' experience as a pipelayer.
  • Ability to communicate in English via verbal and written communications.
  • Physical ability to move throughout a construction jobsite, which includes minor obstacles such as climbing ladders and inclines, operating heavy equipment, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items and work with the fingers and perceive attributes of objects and materials.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
