Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assembly Technician II to join our team at Alfa Laval. As a key member of our production operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient production of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production Operations: Run production processes according to established safety and quality standards, and continuously improve them to meet business demands.
  • Quality Control: Accurately and consistently use personal protective equipment, and report any deviations to the team leader or manager immediately.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in daily and weekly 5S routines to maintain high standards of organization and cleanliness, and engage in cross-training opportunities to improve skills and knowledge.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and report problems, and initiate and run problem resolution and improvement activities to drive continuous improvement.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with support functions, such as quality, maintenance, and order planning, to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Some experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred.
  • Certifications: Crane and forklift certifications a plus.
  • Skills: Basic computer skills, ability to read drawings and blueprints, and physical ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
