About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Manager to join our team at Schwan's Company. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process and ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production Oversight: Direct and manage the production process to ensure that all products are manufactured to meet company and regulatory requirements.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and develop a team of production staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that products meet company and regulatory standards.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all production staff are aware of and comply with safety procedures and regulations.
  • Cost Control: Monitor and control production costs to ensure that they are within budget.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve production-related problems in a timely and effective manner.
Requirements
  • Experience: 4-5 years of experience in a production management role, preferably in the food industry.
  • Education: High school diploma required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Skills: Intermediate computer skills, SAP experience beneficial, intermediate knowledge of robotics used in production, ability to effectively supervise line employees, strong communication and reasoning skills.
