Key Responsibilities:
Assess new technological advancements, prototype potential solutions, and develop product strategies to address future business requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to guarantee alignment of technology strategies throughout the global technology framework. Analyze technology suppliers and industry leaders' product strategies, communicating opportunities for enhancing restaurant technology. Conduct visits to restaurants to gather insights from staff and rethink technological approaches to enhance both employee and customer experiences. Collaborate with internal product teams, operators, and suppliers to advocate for innovation and modernize our technology offerings. Support and participate in daily meetings and ongoing technology transformation initiatives. Comprehend business requirements to produce quality outcomes and adapt to evolving challenges. Exhibit a leadership mindset and a strong commitment to ensure projects are managed efficiently, on schedule, and meet objectives.Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline. Solid technical foundation, including knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server & Desktop OS, PowerShell, virtualization technologies, cloud platforms, and system architecture. Basic understanding of computer hardware, including electrical circuits, power consumption, technology racks, cabling types, and internal components. Familiarity with modern DevOps practices, including Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD for infrastructure systems, Desired State Configuration, and automated testing. Ability to analyze complex integration needs, identify inefficiencies, and propose solutions and process improvements. Analytical mindset for evaluating various solution options and collaborating with multiple teams to achieve consensus on a selected approach. Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical strategies. Comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies. Capability to contribute as a hands-on technologist when necessary (e.g., writing scripts, setting up repositories, troubleshooting server issues). Document business requirements, processes, and technical specifications for future reference. Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of projects related to business systems or processes. Inquisitive, task-oriented, and a self-starter with a proven track record of achieving results.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a retail or point-of-sale environment. Familiarity with Cloud Computing technologies, particularly edge computing.
