Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team at Hancock County Health System. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases by performing various laboratory tests and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Perform moderate and high complexity testing per CLIA standards
  • Conduct hematology, chemistry, microbiology, blood bank, and coagulation testing
  • Keep detailed records of all tests performed and report results to authorized personnel
  • Work independently and perform phlebotomy on ER, inpatients, and outpatients
Requirements
  • MT, MLT, MLA, or CLA certification
  • Good vision and verbal skills
  • Ability to perform well under pressure and cope with a variety of situations
  • Experience preferred
Work Schedule

We offer a weekend package available for $1300 for working the entire shift, on-call starts Friday at 5:00pm to Monday at 5:30am. Additional hours are available as needed. Must work at least one weekend per quarter. Must be willing to work on-call and weekends.
