About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Acute Rehabilitation Unit at Lutheran Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide and coordinate nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other professionals in planning and implementing care within hospital policy and legal limitations.
  • Assess needs of patients and families, provide appropriate teaching to facilitate discharge planning, and make necessary referrals to community agencies to provide continuity of care.
  • Utilize a holistic approach to care, considering physical, psych/social, spiritual, educational, safety, and related criteria.
Qualifications
  • Current active Iowa License to practice as a Registered Nurse.
  • Minimum of six months RN experience.
  • Department of Labor Level III (Medium) Work.
