Job Summary

Tact Staff is seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN Rehabilitation to join our team in Des Moines, Iowa.

This is a 13-week contract with a 36-hour workweek, offering a unique opportunity to gain enriching experiences in a rehabilitation setting.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in a rehabilitation setting, focusing on spinal cord injury, brain injury, oncology, limb loss, trauma/ortho, and general debilitation.
  • Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and supportive work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with best practices in rehabilitation nursing.
Requirements
  • Current RN license in Iowa or compact state.
  • Acute Rehab and/or Med-Surg background in a hospital setting.
  • Ability to handle a variety of patients independently, including neuro, ortho, trauma, oncology, and general debilitation.
  • Stroke Certification encouraged due to patient population.
