Job Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is a vital member of our healthcare team at Wexford Health Sources, Inc. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate LPN to join our team in a part-time capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Direct and guide patient teaching activities under the clinical guidance of Registered Nurses.
• Assist in the assessment of patients' physical, psychological, and social dimensions, and develop individual treatment plans in collaboration with Registered Nurses, physicians, and correctional officers.
• Implement medical plans by administering medications and interventions as directed by providers.
• Document patient encounters, responses, and effectiveness of care, and communicate information to supervisory personnel and physicians.

Requirements

• Current, unrestricted New Mexico Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) License.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience; correctional experience preferred.
