Performance Optimization Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Performance Optimization Specialist to join our team at IBM. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for optimizing the performance of our high-volume data repositories under heavy loads, both read and update.
Key Responsibilities- Test and analyze performance best practices in high-volume data repositories under heavy loads, both read and update.
- Assist in troubleshooting performance issues encountered in production SaaS environments.
- Recommend performance improvements in tooling, sizing, and tuning to optimize cost and efficiency.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- BS in Computer Science or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in large customer environments with 1 million+ database users.
- 1-3 years of experience with DB2, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Kubernetes.
- 1-3 years of experience with core dumps, including binaries and APM data.
We are also looking for candidates with:
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in large customer environments with 1 million+ database users.
- 3-5 years of experience with DB2 and PostgreSQL.
