We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator to join our team at Consigli Construction Co., Inc. As a Senior Estimator, you will play a critical role in leading all estimating efforts on complex and large-scale projects.
Key Responsibilities- Estimating Process Management: Ensure that the estimating process runs smoothly and efficiently, exceeding client expectations throughout the duration of the project(s).
- Client and Stakeholder Relationships: Build relationships to understand client, designer, and subcontractor needs and expectations.
- Estimate Preparation: Analyze drawings, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for projects.
- Team Collaboration: Effectively facilitate collaboration amongst team members.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with all stakeholders.
- Business Development: Participate in business development activities, presentations, and interviews.
- Value Engineering and Risk Analysis: Prepare value engineering and risk analysis.
- Estimate Quality Control: Ensure quality control of bids and estimates.
- Budget and GMP Preparation: Prepare an in-house budget and GMP.
- Education: BS or MS in Engineering or Construction Management.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience in estimating field, with 10+ years' experience in construction.
- Skills: Strong experience in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and persistent in specialized estimating software.
- Market Knowledge: Understanding of the influence of market conditions on pricing.
- Attention to Detail: Extreme attention to detail required.
