Job Title: PRN Registered Nurse

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team of caregivers in the Nashville, TN area. As a PRN Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work with patients in their own homes, providing high-quality care and building lasting relationships.

Responsibilities:
  • Execute physician-prescribed plans of care, ensuring that patients receive the best possible treatment.
  • Complete compliant documentation of care provided, maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with healthcare teams.
  • Manage and administer prescribed medication, treatment, and therapies, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
  • Conduct patient assessments, coordinate care, and perform various activities associated with daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Monitor vital signs, GI intake and output, and assess skin integrity, providing wound care as needed.
  • Communicate with family members, physicians, case managers, and other healthcare professionals regarding patient health and progress.
  • Provide education and training to patients, their families, and Home Health Aides, empowering them to take an active role in their care.
  • Collaborate with and supervise Certified Nursing Assistants and Personal Care Attendants, ensuring a seamless care experience.
  • Perform other personal care services as necessary to meet patient needs, adapting to changing circumstances and priorities.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited college or university, Associate or Baccalaureate School of Nursing.
  • Current State or Compact License as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • Current CPR certification, TB test, and physical examination.
  • Good interpersonal skills, hand-eye coordination, and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and move patients safely.
  • Dependable transportation and willingness to commute to patient homes.
  • Ability to provide basic medical management up to medically fragile end-of-life care.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1 year of experience as an RN/LPN in a clinical or home health setting.
