- Liaison with Apple Legal: Act as a liaison with Apple legal and litigation specialists to coordinate on day-to-day eDiscovery data collection and processing requests.
- Technical Requirements: Provide technical requirements and guidance to internal and external development teams to drive the development of eDiscovery tools.
- Case and Data Archive Management: Maintain case and data archive inventories and retention programs, using databases and legal systems.
- SOP Development: Develop and maintain SOPs for eDiscovery processing and data collection.
- Documentation and Reporting: Create detailed, professional documentation and reports, including performance metrics and investigation reports.
- Collaboration with Case Teams: Partner with case teams to develop defensible approaches to data collection and processing.
- Vendor and Counsel Collaboration: Work closely with outside vendors and counsel to minimize document review costs and time.
- Education: Position prefers a bachelor's degree in a related field or 3+ years of equivalent, hands-on forensics or legal/eDiscovery experience.
- Technical Skills: Experience administering Mac OS X, Linux, or other *NIX servers in a data center environment hosting and supporting critical applications and services.
- Scripting and Forensic Toolkits: Proficient with BSD/Linux shell environments and scripting (bash, perl, python) and experience with filesystem forensic toolkits (EnCase, FTK, Blacklight).
- Project Management: Project Management experience preferred.
