Job Title: Lead Cashier

At Family Farm and Home, we are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Lead Cashier to join our team. As a Lead Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing sales quickly and accurately, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide outstanding customer service and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card, and other payment methods.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the cash register area and surrounding areas.
  • Assist with training and development of new cashiers and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Monitor and maintain cash control, including balancing cash drawers and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Communicate effectively with management and other team members to ensure seamless store operations.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous cash handling experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit transactions.
