About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team at Marriott Vacations Worldwide. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubrication of tools and equipment
  • Respond to guest repair requests and communicate with guests to resolve maintenance issues
  • Identify and troubleshoot problems with hotel systems, including air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, and plumbing
  • Assist with surface preparation and painting, minor drywall and wood trim repair, and light bulb and A/C filter replacement
  • Use the Lockout/Tagout system before performing any maintenance work

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in a related field preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance or a related field
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move up and down stairs
