  • Record journal entries into the general ledger.
  • Manage general ledger accounting through the month-end closing process.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations.
  • Execute various account reconciliations.
  • Gather and analyze financial data to prepare entries for general ledger accounts.
  • Establish and document internal processes and workflows.
  • Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
  • Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports to summarize the current and projected financial position of the company.

Qualifications for the Senior Accountant Role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 7 years of corporate accounting experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel is advantageous.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
