Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cash Control Analyst to join our team at Yale New Haven Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing and balancing all monetary transactions within the hospitals, ensuring accurate cash flow for each institution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and process electronic remittances daily to ensure proper and timely application of these transactions.
  • Process and balance payments from insurance lockbox to ensure proper and timely application of these transactions to the appropriate accounts in Epic.
  • Process payments via patient lockbox and self-service/point of service online portal for each hospital and corporate accounts.
  • Work the undistributed work queue by analyzing each account to ensure proper application of payments.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the Epic system and other related systems to perform all job duties.
Requirements
  • High school graduate with business or accounting related courses. Associate's degree in a business related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
  • One to two years of third party claims management experience in a computerized hospital/healthcare revenue cycle environment, preferably Epic.
  • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel is required.
