Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Soliant. As a School-Based Occupational Therapist, you will work with students in a dynamic educational setting, providing essential occupational therapy services to support their academic and functional success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Evaluate students' functional abilities and needs within the school environment to inform individualized education plans (IEPs) and treatment goals.
  • Develop and Implement Therapy Plans: Create and execute evidence-based interventions and therapeutic activities to address students' occupational therapy needs.
  • Collaborate with Educational Teams: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to support students' academic and functional success.
  • Document Progress and Outcomes: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy: Earned from an accredited program.
  • State Licensure or Eligibility: Current licensure or eligibility for licensure in California.
  • Experience in School-Based Settings: Preferred but not required.
  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
