Overview

Select Medical Corporation's Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospitals provide advanced treatment and comprehensive care to address medical, physical, emotional, and vocational challenges for individuals with brain injury, spinal cord injury, stroke, amputation, neurological disorders, orthopedic conditions, and multiple traumas.

Responsibilities

The Hospital Care Coordinator will administer, direct, and supervise clinical care provided by nursing staff, including registered nurses, nursing assistants, respiratory therapists, and unit secretaries. They will serve as a resource and consultant for clinical nursing care and maintain approved standards of patient care while collaborating with the Chief Nursing Officer. Additional responsibilities include assisting with disciplinary issues, staff mentoring, performance appraisals, and providing oversight in collaboration with the CNO when needed.

Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or enrollment in BSN program required
  • Valid state RN license and Certified BLS required
  • Certified ACLS within six months of employment
  • Minimum three years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with at least three years in a managerial or supervisory capacity
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN) after meeting eligibility requirements
Salary Information

Estimated annual salary: $90,000 - $120,000 depending on location and experience. Benefits include competitive rates, shift differentials, and a high success rate of patients being discharged home from our hospital.
