Job Summary:

Sun Coast Resources is seeking a skilled Tank Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Tank Department, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our bulk tanks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and recondition bulk tanks, including repair and painting
  • Build and repair pumps and meters
  • Perform industrial tank cleanings
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure tank and equipment are in good operating condition prior to delivery
  • Ensure timely completion of tank orders
  • Work productively with minimal supervision
  • Collaborate with the team to organize and effectively run the Tank Department
  • Respond to emergency/spill clean-up service calls
  • Perform other tasks and projects as assigned by manager

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license
  • Good driving record and clear MVR
  • Minimum age 18
  • Must be local (live within 60 miles)
  • Ability to lift 80 pounds
  • Ability to work at high elevations
  • Ability to work in extreme temperature and weather conditions
  • Must exhibit stable employment history
  • Successfully pass drug screen and background check in accordance with plant/refinery standards
  • Must have a TWIC card or ability to acquire
  • Must be motivated, able to communicate effectively with co-workers and management, and work well in a team environment
  • Ability to promote teamwork, be a self-starter, and work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work a flexible work schedule

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working on pumps and pressure testing tanks
  • At least 1 year of prior warehouse general labor experience
  • Prior experience operating forklifts
