Job Summary

Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a full-time position in Rockford, IL.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1+ years of occupational therapy experience and be certified in Illinois. The COTA will work with students in a K-12 setting, providing therapy services to improve motor skills, sensory processing, and daily life tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Occupational Therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans for students.
  • Deliver therapy services focusing on improving motor skills, sensory processing, and daily life tasks.
  • Collaborate with educational staff, parents, and the Occupational Therapist to create a supportive learning environment.
  • Track and report student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
  • Attend IEP meetings to provide insights on student development and therapy outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Active COTA certification and Illinois state licensure required.
  • Prior experience working with children or in a school setting is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
  • Passion for helping students succeed and develop essential skills.
