Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team at Umanist Staffing LLC. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality imaging services for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Provide exceptional patient care by collecting key information from patients, families, providers, and nurses to assist in proper diagnosis.
  • Education and Informed Consent: Educate patients, families, or providers on the extent and detail of each procedure, including informed consent and pre-and post-procedure instructions.
  • Exam Administration: Ensure the proper exam is being administered to the patient, consulting with the provider as needed.
  • Assistance during Procedures: Assist the provider during interventional and invasive procedures.
  • Contrast Administration: Administer oral and IV contrast prior to procedures.
  • Inventory Management and Equipment Inspection: Maintain proper inventory levels of all supplies and perform daily equipment inspections.
  • Quality Control and Accreditation: Responsible for American College of Radiology (ACR) CT testing/accreditation requirements and site-specific quality control.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Perform the most advanced tasks with no supervision, serving as a subject matter expert in computed tomography and quality control.
  • Patient Needs Assessment: Identify patient needs and determine priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
  • Staff Management and Operations: Ensure patient care needs are met through effective management of staffing resources and operations, overseeing the general operation of the assigned department, including staffing.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Lead and mentor others, acting as the first point of escalation, providing peer-review feedback, and maintaining competencies of staff.
  • ALARA Policy: Practice guidelines specific to ALARA policy (As Low As Reasonably Achievable).
Qualifications
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Licenses and Certifications
  • American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Provider Certification.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Certification.
  • Computed Tomographic (CT) Certification.
