As a Strategic Planning Manager at FedEx, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of a holistic workforce strategy plan across badged and vendor resources. This includes defining and implementing a location strategy in alignment with the Enterprise strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic workforce planning roadmap that aligns the current situation with plans and includes the risks that the organization may face.
  • Design and launch workforce reporting, including dashboards, KPIs, and quarterly reviews in alignment with key stakeholders.
  • Institute a talent management strategy, a job framework, and skills pathway for the tech workforce.
  • Continue to position for top talent and in-demand skillsets through inclusive culture actions, L&D programs, etc.
  • Set planning methodology for identifying future workforce gaps, plans to mitigate such gaps, and measure results.
  • Ownership and support of the DRIVE Workforce Pod initiatives with metrics tracking, data visualization, and dashboard development.
  • Global headcount management, tracking, and reporting.
  • Oversight and governance of the Data and Technology hiring process.
  • Establish plans to enable recruitment, retention, and re-skilling of Data and Technology team members.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree/equivalent in computer science, math, or directly related quantitative degree or related field.
  • Five (5) years systems development experience, including programming, with skill in one or more programming languages.
  • Experience in the technical design and development of major data processing projects, including IMS experience.
  • Knowledge of software and engineering principles, strong basic management, human relations, and communication skills.
