Fundraising Manager, Walk to End Alzheimer's

About the Role:

The Alzheimer's Association is seeking a highly skilled Fundraising Manager to lead the Walk to End Alzheimer's program in Duluth, Brainerd, and Chisholm. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing and managing multiple peer-to-peer fundraising events annually, driving revenue growth, and building strong relationships with community and corporate leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve event revenue goals, increase community participation, and enhance brand awareness.
  • Recruit, manage, and coach volunteers to implement best practices and achieve fundraising goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with community and corporate leaders, identifying opportunities for partnerships and sponsorships.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to leverage resources, expertise, and support for event success.
  • Monitor and analyze event data to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in fundraising, volunteer management, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets, recruiting and managing volunteers, and building strong relationships with community and corporate leaders.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision and collaboratively with internal and external partners.
  • Valid driver's license, access to reliable vehicle, and good driving record.
