This role involves working during the night shift from Monday to Thursday, 7:30 PM to 6:00 AM, with an additional $3.00 shift differential.
Key Responsibilities:The primary focus is to execute sanitation tasks effectively within designated areas, ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards while meeting production objectives.
- Conduct sanitation activities, including cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing various surfaces such as machines, pipes, ducts, floors, walls, ceilings, and furniture.
- Perform assigned production tasks, which may include palletizing, depalletizing, case packing, case sealing, blending, and hand assembly.
- Utilize cleaning chemicals safely after completing the required chemical training certification.
- Execute wet cleaning of production lines and rooms while adhering to safety protocols and using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain pace and efficiency in line with production demands.
- Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and hygiene standards.
- Comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions, while being open to feedback.
- Work independently, as direct supervision may not always be available.
- Adapt to various areas within the facility as assigned.
- Communicate sanitation needs and concerns effectively to peers and supervisors.
- Report production requirements, such as material requests and quality issues, to the appropriate personnel.
To be considered for this position, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Successful completion of a Vocational Rehabilitation Program.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Relevant work experience or qualifications as determined by a qualified representative.
