Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with pre-construction, estimating, and purchasing departments to develop contract price/budget and Guaranteed Maximum Price. Supervise pre-construction activities related to Trade Project Management and project-specific requirements.
  • Oversee a team of 2+ Project Managers.
  • Create a comprehensive list of contract items essential for project construction. Develop trade scope of work documents for bid packages, major material, and equipment purchases.
  • Manage or assist in the change management process by updating logs, coordinating with vendors, obtaining pricing, and preparing estimates and proposals.
  • Generate reports using ProCore Project Management Software and Microsoft Office tools on a regular basis.
  • Lead and supervise activities across pre-design, design, pre-construction, construction, and project closure phases.
  • Handle multiple projects at different stages of design/construction.
  • Analyze risks, address schedule-related issues, and evaluate long-lead materials or equipment that may impact cash flow.
  • Act as the main point of contact for senior leadership regarding critical business initiatives.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in the construction sector with a focus on general contracting.
  • Prior experience in multifamily construction management.
  • A 4-year degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field.
