Respiratory Therapist

Children's Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a Respiratory Technician to join our team. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will assist with assessing, implementing, planning, and evaluating patient care services under the supervision of a certified respiratory care professional.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with the management of the ongoing process of Respiratory Care delivery to patients and parents, incorporating age-related and developmental-specific requirements under the supervision of a licensed professional.
- Participate in the educational process related to the delivery of healthcare under the supervision of a licensed professional.
- Participate in the discharge planning process under the supervision of a licensed professional.
- Assist in the management of the environment for the delivery of care under the supervision of a licensed professional.
- May assist with equipment and supply stocking, cleaning, and set-up.
- Maintain professional development.
- Participate in the achievement of organizational and departmental goals.
- Must be actively enrolled at a Senior level or recent graduate of an accredited respiratory care program.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of employment.
- Must be able to successfully pass the Basic Windows Skill Assessment at 80% or higher rating within 30 days of employment.
