strongJob Summary:/strongbrbrAs a Respiratory Therapist at PruittHealth, you will play a vital role in providing respiratory health teaching, patient evaluation, and treatment. You will work closely with physicians and pertinent staff to ensure the highest level of resident care. Your expertise will be essential in educating patients and fellow employees on the proper use, features, safety, and benefits of respiratory equipment. Additionally, you will maintain an active technical knowledge of respiratory products and services provided by the center.brbrstrongKey Responsibilities:/strongbrbr Apply standards of respiratory therapy practicebrbr Carry out therapy treatments to patients/residents as directed and per policy and protocolsbrbr Complete, maintain, give, and receive patient care status reportsbrbr Work with physicians and pertinent staff to maintain a high level of resident carebrbr Inform physicians as to changes in respiratory status of assigned patients/residentsbrbr Perform charting duties in regards to respiratory therapy treatments or servicesbrbrstrongRequirements:/strongbrbr Eligible as a Certified Respiratory Therapist or as a Registered Respiratory Therapistbrbr One (1) year's experience as a Respiratory Therapist in the healthcare industrybrbr Current, active, and unrestricted Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) licensure/certification in the state of practicebrbrstrongPreferred Qualifications:/strongbrbr Previous experience with vent patients and long-term facilitiesbrbr Family Makes Us Stronger.
