Role Description:
As a Breast Sonographer, you will be an integral part of the UCHealth Yampa Valley Medical Center, focusing on providing high-quality ultrasound services in the Breast Health Center. This full-time position involves working day shifts and offers competitive compensation based on your experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a variety of ultrasound procedures with precision and care.
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to achieve outstanding patient outcomes.
- Mentor and guide new staff in imaging practices and protocols.
- Stay abreast of advancements in ultrasound technology and practices.
- Ensure safety and quality standards are met at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited Ultrasound Technologist or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program.
- Registered as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), Vascular Technologist (RVT), or Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or certified in Sonography (S) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- State licensure as required.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
