Pharmacy Technician

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and service. Our pharmacy technicians are the face of our pharmacy, interacting with customers and developing strong relationships with patients.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Pharmacy Technician. In this role, you will assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including dispensing medications, processing prescriptions, and providing customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in the dispensing of medications and processing of prescriptions
• Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
• Operate pharmacy systems, including cash registers and inventory management software
• Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking of pharmaceuticals
• Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain certification and stay up-to-date on industry developments

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; PTCB certification preferred
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
• Basic math skills and accuracy with cash handling
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
