Pharmacy Technician

Carepoint Healthcare LLC is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accurate preparation and dispensing of medications to patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare medications for dispensing by retrieving, counting, pouring, weighing, and mixing medication
• Verify prescription information for accuracy and completeness
• Enter data into the computer system, recording prescriptions, purchase orders, requisitions, and disbursements
• Prepare insurance claim forms and labels for unit doses and prepackaged pharmaceuticals
• Perform general clerical duties, such as answering phones and operating the computer

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• IL Pharmacy Technician License: Required
• Certification (PTCB or ExCPT or Grandfathered): Required
• Pharmacy Technician experience: Preferred
• Retail Setting experience: Preferred
• Lives within 20-mile radius: Preferred
