Job Title: Advanced Practice Provider Vein Specialist

Join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals at the Midwest Cardiovascular Institute as an Advanced Practice Provider Vein Specialist. In this role, you will provide expert care to patients with vascular disease, working closely with our team of cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess, plan, diagnose, implement, coordinate, and evaluate care provided to patients with vascular disease
  • Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Perform comprehensive health histories and physicals, discharge summaries, and other documentation as needed
  • Order and interpret diagnostic studies, analyze patient data, and formulate diagnoses
  • Develop and implement plans of care, including pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in nursing with a concentration in advanced practice nursing
  • Current licensure as an Advanced Practice Nurse in Illinois
  • Current certification as an Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) provider
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
