**Job Summary**

The Laborer will assist with day-to-day operations at Martin Marietta, including maintaining a clean yard and work environment. This role will also involve helping to maintain roadways and work areas, as well as performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Perform a variety of general manual labor tasks under direct supervision, including shovel work, sweeping, lifting, and cleaning.
  • Act as a spotter and use a variety of tools and equipment to support production operations, such as skid steer shovels or other equipment to remove excess material from beneath the plant.
  • Assist Plant Operators, Equipment Operators, and Maintenance Crew with daily duties and projects as requested.
  • Keep the plant clean to eliminate possible hazards and follow all safety and environmental rules and regulations.

**Requirements**

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • Skid Steer experience preferred.
  • Must be safety conscious, dependable, motivated, and possess a positive attitude in working with others as a team.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Previous construction or industry experience is a bonus but not required.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check.
