Position Overview
Nevada Cement Company is seeking skilled professionals to contribute to our mission of advancing the cement industry in America.

Key Responsibilities
  • Actively engage in the formulation, execution, and participation in safety initiatives, protocols, and guidelines to improve overall safety standards.
  • Oversee a preventative maintenance strategy to guarantee the dependable functioning of plant operations and systems.
  • Ensure all HMI and PLC software is up-to-date and securely backed up on a regular basis.
  • Collaborate with corporate IT to ensure the reliable performance of plant office computer servers.
  • Assist in meeting company production goals concerning waste reduction and operational delays.
  • Provide training to current staff to maintain high proficiency levels within the maintenance division.
  • Integrate new machinery and processes into the existing framework, including the development of new PLC programming and HMI screen interfaces.
  • Encourage proactive work habits to enhance equipment reliability.
  • Facilitate interdepartmental communication, particularly in conveying information about new equipment, controls, or programming modifications to production personnel.
  • Diagnose and rectify equipment malfunctions during operational disruptions.
  • Contribute to the formulation and execution of company policies while serving as a model for compliance and enforcement.
  • Carry out any additional assigned tasks and responsibilities.
