Job Summary:

Volusia County Schools is seeking a skilled tradesperson to join our maintenance team. As a Maintenance Technician - Building Services, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities. This includes carpentry work, repairs, and maintenance of buildings and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform carpentry work, including repairs and maintenance of buildings and equipment
• Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and prevent problems
• Collaborate with other maintenance staff to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2+ years of experience in a maintenance or trades role
• Strong knowledge of carpentry and building maintenance practices
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
