We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist PRN to join our team at The Center for Orthopedic and Research E. As a Radiologic Technologist PRN, you will be responsible for producing high-quality radiographs to assist in the diagnosis of illnesses or injury.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce quality radiographs to assist in the diagnosis of illnesses or injury
- Educate patients regarding the procedure
- Create and maintain patient electronic medical record (EMR)
- Provide patients with copies of the images upon request
- Ensure images are in the PACS system
- Maintain quantity and quality control checks to ensure the X-ray unit meets standards required by laws, rules, and departmental policies.
- Clean, maintain, and make minor adjustments to radiographic equipment, including determining repairs needed to equipment.
- Protect patients and other personnel from radiation hazards
- Maintain radiographic supplies
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a BMO required
- 1 or more years of experience in a clinical patient setting required
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system knowledge
- Valid state license and BMO certification
