We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Southeast Orthopedic Specialists. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for producing high-quality radiographs to assist in the diagnosis of illnesses or injuries. Your expertise will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet patients in a professional and friendly manner
  • Produce quality radiographs to assist in the diagnosis of illnesses or injuries
  • Educate patients regarding the procedure
  • Create and maintain patient electronic medical records
  • Provide patients with copies of the images upon request
  • Ensure images are in the PACS system
  • Maintain quantity and quality control checks to ensure the X-ray unit meets standards required by laws, rules, and departmental policies
  • Clean, maintain, and make minor adjustments to radiographic equipment
  • Protect patients and other personnel from radiation hazards
  • Maintain radiographic supplies

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a BMO required
  • 1 or more years of experience in a clinical patient setting required
  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system knowledge
  • Valid state license and BMO certification
