Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Paramedic to join our team in the Emergency Room at the University of New Mexico - Hospitals. As a Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing advanced life support to patients in emergency situations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform patient care assignments, including triage, stabilization, and preparation for transport.
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and provide critical care to patients.
- Maintain equipment and supplies, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Work effectively with patients, visitors, physicians, and hospital staff to provide excellent customer service.
Qualifications:
- CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuer certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification
- Emergency Medical Technician Paramedic License
- No minimum experience required
