Speech Therapist Opportunity at Avante

Avante at Inverness, a Skilled Nursing Facility, is seeking a Speech Therapist to provide high-quality care to our residents. As a Speech Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing, treating, and developing programs to improve communication and swallowing skills in our residents.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify communication and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address resident needs
  • Provide direct therapy services to residents, including speech, language, and swallowing therapy
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care
  • Document resident progress and communicate with family members and healthcare providers

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Successful completion of National Certification Examination for Speech-Language Pathologists
  • Current state licensure or license eligible
  • 0-3 years of long-term care experience
