Job Title: Subcontract Management Specialist

Description:

United Launch Alliance (ULA) is seeking a skilled Subcontract Management Specialist to join our team in Decatur, AL. As a key member of our General Procurement team, you will be responsible for facilitating purchasing activities and managing subcontractor relationships to ensure seamless integration with our supply chain strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

* Facilitate purchasing activities for the acquisition of hardware required by the enterprise, focusing on integrated supply chain strategy and strategic sourcing analysis
* Direct and manage cost, schedule, and technical performance requirements for subcontractors, ensuring compliance with all technical requirements and contract milestones
* Assist in developing subcontract specifications, work statements, terms and conditions, and other technical requirements documents
* Serve as a focal point for subcontractors and brief ULA executive management and customers on subcontract status and issues affecting performance or cost

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or relevant field from an accredited college or university
* Microsoft Excel experience with advanced functions and pivot tables
* Experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Business with purchasing policies and procedures
* Proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning Systems (SAP preferred)
* Capability to develop and apply basic professional analytical techniques to solve problems

* Experience working in a manufacturing environment with multi-functional teams
* Proactive, independent worker with capacity to work in dynamic team environment
* Impeccable attention to detail, passion for driving change, and ability to look at big picture
* Superior written and verbal communication skills
