Product Design Manager, Augmented Reality

Meta is seeking a highly skilled Product Design Manager to lead our Augmented Reality (AR) product design team. As a key member of our Reality Labs team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering innovative AR experiences that empower people to build community and bring the world closer together.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of designers to create user-centered AR experiences that meet the needs of our users.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and research, to ensure seamless product development.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of AR technology and its applications.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to inform design decisions.
  • Contribute to high-level strategic decisions with the rest of the product and executive teams.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in product design, with a focus on AR and VR.
  • Proven track record of shipping high-quality products and leading design teams.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and human-computer interaction.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Experience working with Generative AI models and language output.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working on large-scale, complex projects across multiple org pillars.
  • Knowledge of AR, VR, and wearables technologies.

Compensation:

$165,000/year to $231,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
