Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at SSM Health.

As an LPN, you will provide high-quality patient care under the direction of a registered nurse or physician, functioning within the scope of your license.

Responsibilities:

* Contribute to patient assessment and ensure patient well-being
* Administer medications and monitor patients for adverse reactions
* Educate patients and families about disease treatment plans, including self-care post-discharge and available resources
* Perform point-of-care testing according to policies and procedures
* Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

* Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or equivalent education for licensing
* No experience required

Physical Requirements:

* Constant use of speech to share information through oral communication
* Constant standing and walking
* Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs
* Frequent sitting, reaching, and keyboard use/data entry
* Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near and far

* Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
* Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
