Job SummaryWe are seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our team. As a PCT, you will play a critical role in providing direct patient care, monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment, and educating patients on kidney dialysis-related topics.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment
- Monitor patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and oxygen saturation
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and disinfecting equipment and supplies
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must be comfortable working around blood and needles
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
