Position Overview:
The Meeting Production Specialist is a well-rounded professional with extensive experience in commercial audiovisual systems, demonstrating the ability to thrive with minimal supervision. This role requires a profound understanding of conference room AV systems and various virtual collaboration platforms, along with a practical grasp of the challenges faced by clients in hybrid meeting settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take initiative in self-assigning tasks and managing responsibilities independently.
- Exhibit exceptional written and verbal communication skills, providing innovative and practical solutions to client needs while adapting to present suitable alternatives.
- Possess expertise in virtual meeting technologies, including webinars, with advanced troubleshooting capabilities and the ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced government environment.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of various physical in-room conference systems, including troubleshooting AV racks, teleconference codecs, and related control systems.
- Oversee the creation, coordination, and maintenance of timelines from pre-meeting preparations through post-event evaluations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a Technical Field with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, or 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- Thorough understanding of AV conference room system operations and signal flow.
- Experience in a government environment is preferred.
- Ability to obtain and maintain public trust clearance.
- Audio Visual Technician certification (AVT) must be achieved within the first 90 days of employment.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Certified Technical Specialist (CTS) certification is advantageous.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds as needed.
- Capability to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
- Utilization of carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other equipment to move items efficiently.
