Key Responsibilities:


Travel to various job sites to conduct testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of a wide range of mechanical and electrical equipment.

This includes:

pumps, motors, variable frequency drives (VFDs), positioners, valves, actuators, transmitters, combustion systems, emission monitoring devices, recorders, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).

Technicians will be expected to commission, troubleshoot, and modify various types of PLCs, including those from leading manufacturers.

Be available for on-call customer service as needed.
Update technical documentation to reflect final field modifications and corrections.
Expect to travel extensively, with up to 75% of your time spent on the road.

Qualifications:
Experience in programming, calibrating, and configuring 4-20 mA loop devices.

Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting PLCs, including but not limited to major brands.

Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, fabrication drawings, and electrical schematics.
Willingness to travel frequently.
A valid driver's license is required, along with the ability to operate a company vehicle.

Physical Requirements:


Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 25 pounds regularly, with the capacity to bend, stoop, crawl, and navigate around equipment.

Must be able to hear distinct sounds and see clearly at various distances.
This role may involve outdoor work and extended hours on occasion.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with advanced PLC systems and industrial safety standards.

A technical degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field is advantageous.

Field experience in sectors such as manufacturing, energy, or food processing is a plus.
