Position Overview:
The Packaging Operator is tasked with the essential role of managing the packaging processes for chemical products. This involves close collaboration with the site planner, operations supervisor, and shipping department to maintain exceptional customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive materials that have successfully passed the final quality inspection.
  • Prepare suitable packaging containers.
  • Accurately fill the prepared containers in accordance with specified configurations.

Work Schedule:
100% on-site
Shift Details:
First shift: M-F, 8:30am-5pm (flexibility may be available post-training for start times between 6-8:30am)

Compensation:
$22.00 per hour

Employment Type:
Contract

Expected Hours:
40 hours per week

Experience Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year in a manufacturing environment is required.

Additional Requirements:
Candidate must possess a high school diploma or GED. Forklift experience is not mandatory, as usage is infrequent (approximately once a week).

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):
Steel-toed shoes (provided), long pants, uniform (provided), and safety glasses are required.

Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong ability to adhere to procedures consistently and accurately. A proven track record in an operator role for an extended duration is preferred, along with experience in a chemical environment. Candidates should exhibit responsibility and accountability in their work.
