Transformative Opportunity for a Senior Professional Education Specialist

At PROCEPT BioRobotics, we are revolutionizing treatment for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) through innovation in surgical robotics. We are seeking a dynamic Senior Professional Education Specialist to join our team and drive a robust educational program supporting our existing and future products across the globe.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage a comprehensive educational program for sales training and surgeon education, ensuring alignment with our global learning and development strategy.
  • Design and build world-class residency programs for surgeons and healthcare professionals, focusing on delivering high-quality, hands-on training experiences.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive training programs for surgeons, including curriculum development, on-site training, and post-training assessments.
  • Lead the creation of educational resources and training for medical staff, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to support surgeons effectively.
  • Collaborate with key opinion leaders, medical professionals, and internal stakeholders to develop high-impact training content.
  • Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, implementing improvements to maintain excellence in educational delivery.
  • Innovate educational approaches, exploring digital learning, simulation, and hands-on workshops to enhance training experiences.
  • Ensure all training programs meet industry standards and accreditation requirements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a life sciences discipline, such as nursing, physician assistant, or pharmacy, with an advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in the life sciences industry, including a combination of clinical, business, and/or clinical education.
  • Proven experience in surgeon training and program development, preferably with global responsibilities.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
  • Experience in developing individuals into subject matter experts, particularly in clinical areas.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience in designing and implementing sales training and professional education programs across multiple regions and cultures.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decision-making and demonstrate training impact.
  • Familiarity with the latest trends and technologies in learning and development.
