Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Communication Specialist to join our team at the Medical College of Wisconsin. As a key member of our clinical program, you will provide diagnostic and treatment services to adults with communication disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for patients with acquired neurogenic communication disorders, including aphasia.
  • Deliver individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices and patient-centered care approaches.
  • Document patient care and treatment outcomes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement research projects, contributing to the advancement of communication disorders treatment.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in clinical settings, with a focus on neurogenic communication disorders.
  • Wisconsin speech-language pathologist license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence required.
  • Preferred experience: 3 years of experience as a medical speech-language pathologist.
